Much has changed in the past couple years, and in particular, what it is to be a child growing up… in this engineered and misbegotten time. Imagine growing up in a world without faces. Imagine your formative years spent breathing human exhaust fumes all day. Imagine those in charge demanding such things occur! There is no need to imagine any of this as we all saw it in real time. For years now the news has spewed catch phrases like “new normal”, as the youngest of us have been contending with a world bereft of common sense and compassion. A world seemingly detached from sanity. There is nothing normal about what has just happened, nor is there anything normal with regard to the number of adults that participated in the careless and unhealthy conditions placed on children. In this episode we delve into what has just happened, with our focus on children. Maybe we should just ask if we learned anything. Maybe we should just ask if this will be allowed to happen again.
